So at work they have a board where everyone can tape up flyers and business cards so I wanted to create some type of flyer that could hold my business cards. I did this fairly quick last week but I think it works. I want to make a few more to put in other stores.

I thought it would be a great idea to create a knitting/crocheting notebook where you can write down ideas and patterns for all your knit and crochet items. I thought a index card notebook would be perfect for this. Since fall is here and the colder weather is coming I think this would be a fun project and also get me inspired to start knitting or crocheting some scarfs and slippers. I am going to use my Cat-Knit Stamp to decorate the front of my notebook ! I am also wanting to create another knitting stamp and also a crochet stamp too!
Today I am releasing my 2nd Halloween digi stamp, Pumpkin Bear. I had this sketched in one of my first idea books I started and thought it would be great as a stamp! I tried a different technique with the bear and gave him a "sketchy" furry look. I think it came out pretty good. Pumpkin Bear is now for sale in the Digi Shop and will also be up for sale soon in my Etsy Shop.
Since I have been super busy with working at the bakery, I wanted share my first iced Italian Cream cake. It is a white cake with I believe pecans and coconut baked in the cake and the icing also has coconut and pecans and cream cheese. I didn't do to bad for my first cake!. I am hoping this weekend I can work on a better schedule to get stamp stuff done.
Just writing a little update today. I should have a new digital stamp tonight or tomorrow, I got a little side tracked yesterday. I am working on wholesaling 2 Cute Rubber Stamps along with coming up with new ideas on ways to branch out all my 2 Cute Designs. Since I have started working at the bakery, I am so inspired to try and make my characters into edible images to put on cakes or cookies, and also thought maybe I can get my images on mylar balloons? Wouldn't it be cool to see your favorite 2 Cute characters on cakes and balloons?
So I was thinking to decorate a plain wooden frame using sculpey clay and 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. I wanted to take the Cowboy Kid stamp, stamp it into clay and make a clay mold and bake it. From there press clay into the Cowboy Kid "mold" which will make a cute embellishment to color and glue to the frame once baked. I may add some, clay stars, and horseshoes and maybe a cute sentiment too! I am not exactly sure how this will turn out, but I hope it works! Who else has used clay with their rubber stamps?
So last week at work I thought of a great Idea! I thought maybe I can stamp one of my
2 Cute Rubber Stamps on a iced sugar cookie. My idea was to buy some food safe markers, mark the stamp up and then presto stamp on the cookie! I was disappointed it didn't work so well, all the markers dried on the stamp before I could stamp it and then the black managed not to dry but it smeared and didn't project a good image! Oh well I still had fun trying and I did do a little search on the web and I believe there is such a thing as a food safe ink pad that I may have to give a try sometime! I am excited to release my first Halloween digital stamp, Monster Mash! These two cute monsters are having a blast dancing to the monster mash song! Monster Mash is now available in the Digi Shop!
This weekend I managed to accomplish 1 thing on my to do list! I got a request to design a custom tattoo sketch of an owl holding an "Ace" of Spade. Here is how the sketch came out! I am still playing with the idea of doing custom tattoo sketches and the priceing and would like to know if there is want for this? Let me know what you think! For now I am gonna get a few halloween designs out this week and next week! Then get some of my digital stamps made into rubber stamps!
I know before I posted a link on how to rubber stamp on candles but I was thinking the other day I wonder if you can use a digital stamp to decorate a candle. Sure enough I searched on the web and someone has figured it out! Check out this great tutorial I found on the craftypad blog! I will need to try this out sometime and I still need to try out the tutorial using regular rubber stamps too!
