So I am back from visitng my family for Thanksgiving. I had a great time as usual but, time really flys by. I need to go up and visit for 7 days the next time.  I did pass out my business cards to my mom, sister and cousins and gave them a few extra to keep on hand.  I really like how it turned out and I can't wait to pass them out now.  Click below on my business card and let me know what you think!

So I just finished posting 11 sketches on my Rate My Stamps page.  I am hoping everyone gets a chance to rate them and let me know what you think.!  I have so much to do between now and tomorrow night, and then off to visit my family for the holiday.

So next on my list is to design my business card.  My first idea was to create a logo of a cute little mouse on top of a rubber stamp.  I was thinking to place that in the middle and have  the words "2 Cute Rubber Stamps" right underneath, with my contact info on the back.  Though the logo came out pretty good, I am not so sure I want to do that anymore.  So yesterday I was thinking why don't I just put my Banner image above on the front with the words "2 cute rubber stamps" centered underneath.  Then on the back put contact information.   This could work, but then I thought should I try to make the back of the business card look like a Greeting Card?  The More I think about it I am not so sure if that would work.   I will post the final business card design after it is finished!

I was searching for some ways to promote my stamps.  I came across this gal that was trying to get her recently published book noticed.  She said she made book marks with her website and info and left them on the table with the tip every time she went out to eat!  I thought that was a pretty cool idea, but instead of making a book mark I am going to leave one of my business cards. 

Another cool Idea that I thought of was to make my own window decal for my car.  I was thinking to have my website and one of my stamp designs and put it on the back of my rear window.  A while back I bought this special window cling paper at Office Max that you can use on your home printer.  I never used it but I knew one day it would come in handy.  I also have this window cling paint kit where you can draw and color images on special paper and let dry, then peel off and stick them to windows.  I am going to try both and see which works the best.  ( I may give some to my family to, so they can put them on their cars)

The past week or so I have been working on some winter themed stamp designs.  I would like to start off my  "Rate My Stamps"  tomorrow with these designs and would really appreciate your feed back.  Though since winter is almost here these may not be offered as stamps till next year but I figured I wanted to share my work.

Starting next week I plan to post a new stamp sketch a day that will go into my "Rate My Stamps" page for feedback and to be rated.  I will probably stick to designs that can be used all year round and then the 1st of december I will start  to create valentine related designs. This way  I can have the first set of valentine stamps made and ready by January 1st.

So today I plan on doing some promoting for my etsy shop. 
Some of the things I need to do are
          1.  add my esty link to all my flickr photos
          2.  check out timothy adams tips for increasing more traffic
          3.  create a face book fan page
          4.  create a myspace fan page

  My New pictures came out great!  It is just a matter of hours now!  I have about 24 more pictures to resize, and then my 2 Cute Etsy shop will be open.  :)  I also have been thinking about my next line of stamps and I may be able to fit in a small line of winter .  I have about 10 winter sketches that I want YOU to vote on and decide which should be in my winter line.  I am thinking the winter line will consist of 4-6 designs!  I can't wait to get those up.  Back to resizing "Vintage Cute" and  my shop will be open tonight!

So as I posted pics of the actual rubber stamps here and on flickr, I thought they need something more.  I think the black is too plain and the lighting could be better.  So I found a piece of scrap booking paper that I will use as a background  and shoot the stamps again but outside, hoping to get some great pics!  Then Esty here I come!  I am so close :)
