My Attempt at Rubber Stamping on a Cookie Not Good

So last week at work I thought of a great Idea! I thought maybe I can stamp one of my
2 Cute Rubber Stamps on a iced sugar cookie. My idea was to buy some food safe markers, mark the stamp up and then presto stamp on the cookie!
I was disappointed it didn't work so well, all the markers dried on the stamp before I could stamp it and then the black managed not to dry but it smeared and didn't project a good image!
Oh well I still had fun trying and I did do a little search on the web and I believe there is such a thing as a food safe ink pad that I may have to give a try sometime!

Lol I am not giving up though, I just put it on hold for a bit. I did find a website that sells food safe ink pads for stamping that i can't wait to try out!

Hi Heidi,

you could also try this:
Print out the turtle twiche on vellum then cut the outer line of one of them with scissors
Then put it on a frosted cookie and use an edible pen to draw the outer line.
The second picture will be used for the inner lines, take a sharp crafting knife and score the lines with it. Put it on the dried cookie and now try to draw the inner lines with the edible pen. If you need instructions I can send you pictures how you can do it
