So I have been working on promoting this site and my etsy shop by posting links on all my other blogs. I am hoping that will help boost my traffic and my views. In the mean time I have decided to start creating a Rubber Stamp Library on this site. Which basically I will be creating rubber stamp designs that are inked and ready to be sold to rubber stamps companies. I have about 3 companies right now that have asked if I have any work done for sale so I thought this would be a great idea! So My 2 Cute Rubber Stamp Business just may turn into not only having my own line of rubber stamps but also selling my original designs to rubber stamp companies.

So, the past few days I have been cleaning and getting things ready for family to come and visit. I managed to do a tiny bit of advertising in the mean time. I first thought I would get a critique on my esty shop by posting a critique question in yahoo answers. I managed to get 3 responses and got some good information. One was to put the word rubber stamp in my description and also instead of saying turtle sundae stamp put turtle sundae rubber stamp. Another said I should branch out into making my own stationary with my stamps, and then the other said to go to scrapbook and stamping forums such as splitcoaststampers and participate and show some samples. Every idea helps and it gives me somewhere to start.
So my other bit of advertising was at the Asian Bistro by my house. We went out for lunch and I am glad I remembered to bring my business card with me and then I left one with the tip! I was excited to actually try my idea, not sure if our waitress will be interested but maybe someone she knows will!!! Next on my list is: 1. make samples with my stamps 2. make window clings 3. look at splitcoaststampers 4. get more followers on twitter 5. facebook page 6. myspace page 7. see how to advertise in a stamp/craft magazine |
