I wasn't able to get my Doodle A Day in yesterday so I did a little extra sketching today!  I am working  on a series of owls dressed in different sports clothes! (Baseball, Basketball and Hockey for today!)  The sketches I did are pretty rough but I was just playing around with the style of the owl and also how I want the eyes!  I am really enjoying being able to sketch in adobe ideas and being able to add some color to the eyes.

So last night  before I went to bed I was thinking to change my "Sketch A Day" to "Doodle A Day"!  I think it sounds a little better!   So for today's doodle I created an owl and worm dancing and listening to music!  I have had this idea for a while and I think my first thumbnail sketch was of a penguin listening to his iPod!   I think I am getting better with sketching in adobe ideas and I may just set a side good old pencil and paper for a while! :)  Let me know what you think!

I was able to come up with this little penguin soft toy design in adobe ideas this afternoon!  I still have problems with the colors showing up different here on the computer vs the iPad but other than that I think this penguin is ready to be made into a soft toy and a pillow, what do you think?

So I was doing a little thinking and quick rough sketching in my idea notebook just a few minutes ago.  I would like to make a soft toy or pillow out of a simple character.  I was thinking a cute little penguin made with light blue and white fleece with a  possible light green letter sewn in the middle of his tummy?  Later tonight or tomorrow I am gonna try and do a finalize sketch and pattern.  

So I have been sketching owls this week so I was inspired by my new little owl digital stamp and created another owl.
This actually started off as a very quick sketch and then I was inspired to doodle the entire owl.  Since I was thinking t-shirt design I wanted to incorporate some type of wording so I thought "Dream" fit just right.   Let me know what you think?

I have been doing some baby clothes shopping the past few days for my sister Heather just had her second baby!
I am going to visit soon so "auntie Heidi" had to go buy a few things! :)  I couldn't just buy for the new baby Jason I had to buy for my other nephew Mikey too!   Seeing all the cute characters and designs has got me wanting to design for baby clothes, I think it would be so much fun to see my designs on baby clothes in the store one day.

I am excited to start a new blog post called "Sketch A Day"!  If you haven't guessed it already I will be drawing a new sketch each day and posting it on my blog.  I am also going to put a Sketch a Day Tab or link up to all sketches can be seen in one spot!  I did a quick sketch this morning of an owl sitting in a flower pot! I decided to try some bigger eyes for the owl, which is something I use to draw a lot but here recent I have been drawing a lot of small dot eyes.    I have this idea I want to start creating more simple characters and this owl is what I came up with.  I actually drew some very quick thumbnail sketches of what this owl could be doing so you may just see some more of this owl very soon!

Today I am releasing a new design for a digital stamp and digitized embroidery image which I created in adobe ideas.   I sketched the little penguin on paper then scanned in and inked in Adobe Ideas app for the iPad.  Above is the cute little digital stamp "Penguin Buddy"  which you can purchase in my new 2 Cute Ink shop!  I would like to develop this image into a cute invitation, baby bib or even  a cute plush.  Make sure to check out the 2 Cute Ink DT blog to see 7 wonderful creations using this little guy.
