I just wanted to post a short blog post since I haven't posted in the last few days! Since it has been so nice out I have been out and about enjoying the nice warm weather. I hope to work on a new website this week and get some new sketches drawn, along with inking more of your favorite sketches to turn into digi stamps and rubber stamps! Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather and the holiday weekend!

So I have been thinking that 2 Cute Rubber stamps needs a .com website! I want to be able to offer all digi stamps for immediate download and also be able to sell my rubber stamps on my site too! I have contacted a few people to help me out or at least point me in the right direction. Also I will be able to offer pre-orders which will allow me to get the inked sketches made into rubber stamps faster!! I can't wait!!!!
I was happy to receive this cute card made with my Stingray Kids stamp in the mail from Sandy! Right after I asked if anyone would like to send me sample cards so I can put in stores or in a craft fair, Sandy sent me an email saying she would send me this card. I knew this card looked cute online but WOW in person it is even cuter!! All the details and layering and all the cute embellishments on card are absolutely wonderful! Don't forget Stingray Kids is sold as a digi stamp and as a cling cushion stamp.
My dream is for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps to be big! I want to sell my stamps in stores and to be able to create designs people love! I want to be able to support my family doing what I love. I know I can do it, I just need to figure out how. I need to make this dream a reality now!
So Vera won the 3rd 2 Cute Challenge, Congrats Vera! Vera chose 2 FREE digi stamps as her prize. One of the digi's was Arctic Friends the cute polar bear and penguin. She was so excited that she whipped a card right up and I thought I would feature her card on my blog today!
Remember Arctic Friends is sold as a digital stamp and a cling cushion stamp! Have a great day everyone! Going to try and get my 2 Cute Craft Room in order today. So, that one consignment shop that I was hoping to sell my stamps in didn't go through. The store was more like an on going craft show where you have to rent a space in the shop an also give 15% of sales and also work one day in the store! Unfortunately there were no spaces available and was told usually there are spaces open after the 1st of the year. Though the manager did refer me to the teacher/learning store at the other end of the mall.
Since the teacher store is more a retail store I have decided I will see if they would like to purchase my stamps at wholesale price to then resell at retail price! Now thinking about it selling wholesale to other companies may be the best way to go. So this week my goal is to get my whole price/retail pricing sheet ready along with creating a cute little catalog with all my stamp designs. I also need to take a look at my Craft Inc. book I have to give me tips on how to approach companies, market better and so on. So I have been thinking about taking some of my 2 Cute Rubber Stamp Designs and putting them on Cafe Press. I thought some of the designs may look cute on children's
t- shirts and regular t-shirts too. They do offer other items to put your images on such as bags, mugs and even Calendars. This is all still in the "thinking" stage for I am not sure how I would want to color them. Here are a few ideas 1. Just use the outline as is but change the color of the line to relate to shirt. ex. Use a dark blue outline on a light blue shirt 2. Some how use the sketches. 3. Just use flat digital color with black outline. 4. Use flat digital color but change color of outline and add shading. 5. Use digital coloring but use Corel Painter to do chalks, water color etc. 6. Color by hand using markers, colored pencils, or chalks then scan in. Let me know what you think about putting some of the designs on Cafe Press! So I was looking at my list and some of you wanted to see more penguin designs!. So I had summer on my mind and came up with a cute penguin and her puppy playing and splashing around in the pool. I was also thinking of making this with a boy penguin too!. I put pony tails on the girl penguin, not sure if I will keep them or just have the bow. Let me know what you think on the Rate My Sketches page.
I just wanted to mention that the 3rd 2 Cute Challenge ends tomorrow! So make sure to pick up your free Hula Hoop Hamster Digi and whip something up to enter the challenge!! The entries so far have been fab and oh so cute! The card above was made by Design Team member Wendy.
