Along with running 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, I am looking to get back into freelancing! I am hoping my freelancing can help me fund 2 Cute Rubber Stamps so I can get all my new digital designs released as rubber stamps! I just finished up doing a t-shirt design of a Meteor Girl with her little cat, which is similar to my To The Moon Digital Stamp. I also may look into licensing my artwork too! So if you know of anyone who needs some Cute designs just let me know!
So I saw this adorable owl cup cozy in the Craft n Things magazine and thought is was such a cute idea! They used a Sizzix to make this but I thought, maybe you could use either your rubber stamps or digital stamps and then cut them out of felt? All you would need then is a coffee cup and wrapper, your stamps, felt, embroidery floss and needle, buttons, hot glue gun and a needle felting tool! I think it is worth a shot to give it a try, though I really don't drink coffee but I thought it would be good for hot chocolate too!
So I made my sister this cute frame using my Cowboy Kid Rubber Stamp. At first I envisioned stamping the cowboy in clay and then coloring it, but it didn't seem to work right. So I made a star from clay, stamped the cowboy kid on transparency film and then painted on the back, drew on the Cowboy sentiment, made dash marks around the frame, added a brown wash to the wood frame and added some cute buttons!
What was even better is that my mom had just sent me a picture of michael at the pumpkin farm that fit perfectly! I think this came out pretty good and I would like to experiment more with making decorated frames! I have always thought it would be a great idea to make little goodie bags using your favorite cute Rubber Stamps! DT member Sammye Jo did just that with the FREEBIE digital stamp Pumpkin Love. I just love this little halloween goodie bag! This would be fun to make for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays and just about any holiday! Don't forget to pick up your free digi and head over to the DT blog for info on how to enter the current challenge! What is nice about digital stamps is that you can resize then to any size you need. Has anyone else made cute little rubber stamped goodie bags?
I had a great time this weekend visiting my family for my nephew Michael's 2nd Birthday Party! I brought all the goodies of course from the bakery including the cake, cupcakes, donuts and cookies! Plus and awesome set of Toy Story Mylar balloons too! Here a few pics from the party.
I am glad I have my day off from the bakery tomorrow so I can relax and catch up on some stamp stuff! I just wanted to remind everyone about the current 2 Cute Rubber Stamps challenge and get your free digi stamp Pumpkin Love! The challenge doesn't end till October 31st so you have plenty time to enter! Just dowload your free digi, pumpkin love here and head over to the DT Blog to find out the info and how to win free stamps!
I was just thinking, wouldn't it be fun to rubber stamp and decorate potholder's? I have been thinking about crocheting or knitting some but decorating a plain white potholder would be so much fun and a lot faster! You can use your stamps to make a fun pattern, stamp on cute sayings and match it to your kitchen decor! It would also be fun to make and give as gifts to! Has anyone ever tried to rubber stamp on a pot holder? Hmm I wonder if it would work or not!
I absolutely loved the creations the DT made with my FREE Pumpkin Love Digital Stamp! The above card was created by DT member Jodie, isn't it super cute? Go check out all the other great creations the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps design team made and join in on the Challenge!
Today starts another 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Challenge which means another fun and cute Free Digital Stamp!
