So I have been inspired to start taking some of my cute illustration ideas and adapt them into pincushions! This is probably my 3rd attempt at just creating the mushroom, learning how to do a blanket stitch and then also playing around with just fabric and then fabric an felt together! I like the look of this mushroom, compared to my fabric and felt mix attempt, but this little mushroom feels a bit flimsy to me. Anyways I think by adding that cute little face and rosy cheeks just makes this mushroom so cute! I used some of these paint pens I had, but they started to bleed just a tad so I think I may invest in some fabric markers. Oh and I think drawing the face before I sew and stuff this mushroom would be a lot easier lol. I actually used some strawberry patterned fabric which I think some cute pins that have little strawberries at the top would just make it perfect! :) now I need to go to the store and check out pins! Heck you really wouldn't need to actually use the pins stuck in this cute mushroom it would just be fun to stick a few fun pins and have this cutie sit on your desk or oh how about a windowsill? :) I think I am going to play around with a different stitching and possibly try a different pattern. But I can't wait to make a turtle and then a ladybug!
