So I am glad I got around to sketching this cute little turtle today! I was inspired by an old turtle sketch and thought if I just added a back pack and lunch box and tweak the pose it would be such a good "First day of School" stamp. As you may have noticed this is the same little turtle I used for " Turtle Sundae"!! I was just thinking maybe I should have his other hand waving? I drew this sketch on marker paper thinking I was going to to a light wash with markers on top, but I realized I didn't have the right markers, so I left him as is and taped him inside my sketch book!
