Digital Coloring

So yesterday I  was thinking it would be nice if I had some colored stamp images on my new website. I chose to color my Thank You Cat image.  Since I haven't done too much digital coloring, I thought I would practice.
I used Photoshop and a few layers with the soft paint brush.  The thing I struggle with is getting the right color, plus on each computer screen it looks a bit different.  I used my HP tablet pc and colored right on the screen. Coloring my stamp images different ways is something I want to work on so I need to fit that into my new weekly schedule!.  Tomorrow I am going to take a picture of my tablet pc to show you exactly what I use!
If anyone has any digital coloring tips feel free to share!

Hi Heidi - I like it, the cat looks good. I used to do all of my coloring in Photoshop until I started playing with Flash. I prefer to color in Flash now simply because I think that it's a little easier. It's much quicker and easier to add highlights, shadows, etc. plus you can still use the layers option if you choose. Just my opinion, but I like it a little better.

Thanks Anita!

Thanks Brian for recommending coloring with flash. I use flash to ink my designs, I need to try and color there too!
