Craft Idea: Quilling with Rubber Stamps and Digital Stamps

So I dabbled into quilling a while back.  I remember my grandpa Tom use to make quilled christmas trees with glitter on them and made them into ornaments!  I think I still have one, when I find it I will post a picture.  I thought it would be a great idea to use rubber stamp designs and try to quill the image.  Now it may not come out exactly how the stamp image looks but that will be the cool part about it, it is kinda just like a guideline.   I think it would be fun to make a small picture using both quilling and stamped images, add glitter etc.. and put it in a small frame!  I would like to quill either my penguin fun

Me, me! :-) I love to quill and have combined it sometimes with stamped images. The Klutz Twirled Paper kit you picture is terrific. It comes with nice supplies and tons of cute ideas.

Hi Heide, I just started quilling as well. I made my first quilling rose 2 days ago. Have you checked out Origami yet? I bet you can fold the stamps as well :-)

Hi Heidi,

I actually started quilling using the Twirled Paper book (which is a fantastic starter!) and now make miniature quilled pieces in my spare time, generally for gifts for family and friends.

If you would like me to send pics, I'd be happy to. It's quite amazing what one can do with strips of paper! =)

Hi! I just found your blog and I'm learning so much looking through it. I consider myself pretty craft, but I'm not a scrapbooker, and I had never heard of digital stamps before. Your images are adorable. Quilling is something that I've wanted to try but never have.
