A couple years back my step mom showed me a cool homemade glass ornament using a clear glass ball ornament, a transparency and an embroidery machine. I thought it was such a great idea and wanted to adapt the craft to using rubber stamps. The basic idea is that you would rubber stamp on the front of the transparency and then color with permanent markers on the back. You then cut it out in the shape of a circle and roll it up to fit inside the clear glass ornament. The transparency will then expand to its normal shape so you will be able to see a floating image! I found a tutorial online for making these christmas ornaments using a photo printed out on the transparency but this will give you an idea on how to make it! I bet you can also use digital stamps too and print them right on the transparency!

That which is striking and beautiful is not always good, but that which is good is always beautiful.*
