But since I also got requests for more of an everyday use, with flowers, balloons etc an idea popped into my head. Why not a mustache holding a flower with his mustache. Then I thought to add a mustache to the flower?
So I have to admit when I got a request to sketch a mustache character I was like how am I gonna do this one lol

I created this sketch based off an idea from one of my Facebook fans! A little ladybug in the air lifted by a balloon. The cool thing is I figured to take in her lady bug print and use it for the balloon print! This one I really love and I! I think I am going to have to ink this one up right away :)
I love making these cute little pendants! I decided to do a quick simple sketch of a birdie on paper first and then started drawing away! It is kinda hard to get a steady line drawing on a scrabble tile because it is small and also the texture of the wood, but I think it adds to the uniqueness of the overall piece! I actually think the actual pendant looks better in person than in the picture lol. what do you think? Can We say 2 Cute Ink Pendants coming soon to my etsy shop???
So I went and bought some micron pens, but I bought Sepia color instead of Black :/. I decided what the heck and try it anyways. The lines looks black just a bit lighter, and the design is a little shaky but I still think it turned out ok. I decided I wanted to draw some flowers and and have a repeat line patterned in the back! I made the lines closer together and farther apart to make it have a little depth. I think I am going to make this my first pendant, what do you think? This may be my new favorite think to do!
Here are the 3 Sneak Peek digital stamps I promised that I will be releasing in the 2 Cute Ink Digital Stamp Shop tomorrow! Be sure to check back tomorrow and see what they are!
So I have always doodled, infact my best doodling seems to be when I am talking on the phone! I actually saved a napkin that I doodled on when talking to "my now fiancé brandon" on the phone when we first met each other.
I didn't want to throw it away because it looked cool but I didn't know what to do with it either lol. I think I stashed in in my old drawings file so when I find it I will post it. On Friday I went to a craft store and saw ton of books on "Zentangle". On the cover it looked like a bunch of cool doodles and showed jewelry and other things made with fun patterns!. But I learned right away that Zentangles are "NOT" doodles but "Meditation achieved through patterned drawing" and "Yoga for Your Brain". Two quotes I pulled form the two different books I bought. I still struggled with how is it different from a doodle? As I kept thinking about it I came to the conclusion that For me "Doodling is "Non thinking" drawing and "Zentangle is where you think about drawing". In the books I bought (Zentangle 5 and Yoga for Your Brain, A Zen Workout) the Zentangle designs are broken up into patterns and have names where you then use the repeat patterns to make your designs. ( A thought out design). Where "Doodling" for me is when I just start creating anything they comes out of my pen or pencil and I am not really thinking. This may not be a right distinguish about Doodles Vs. Zentangles but it at leasts help me separate them. So I was inspired by the Zentangle books I bought and thought it would be fun to try just "Doodling" really quick on scrabble tiles I just bought from a garage sale. In the books I bought they say to use a Micron pen to create your zentangles but all I had was a sharpie and some prisma color marker, plus I was only doodling on the scrabble tile really quick to see the effect. The all black doodle above I drew with a sharpie, which you can see bleeds a little on the scrabble tile and the other doodle I used Prisma color markers (black and colors). The prisma color black is a little darker and has a tint of a gloss finish where the sharpie has a matte finish. The only colors that showed up well where a pink and and orange, the greens looks semi bright in the picture but it is not all that bright. I had fun experimenting with different markers but now my goal is to buy a black micron pen to try and also other markers or pens that will be more "Vibrant". I then want to start reading my Zentangle books and start zentangling! I am also thinking about trying to incorporate Zentangling into some of my cute artwork plus I think both "Doodling and Zentangling" would be a fun to start and end the day with! As I was looking at my little ghostie sketch holding a sucker, I was inspired to create a ghostie witch!
I am loving this little ghost :) what do you think? So I have been working on Halloween designs for the last few days and here is a cute little ghosty I designed! I have decided I want to sketch all my simple halloween line in adobe ideas instead of with pencil and paper! I am really having a fun time with this new simple style and I know it is going to be perfect for my baby onesie's idea!!
I thought it would be cute for him to be holding a sucker! I was toying with the idea of putting a pumpkin shaped sucker or even a black cat shaped design? Since I couldn't decide what I wanted to do I left it with just a good old swirl sucker! What else could little ghostie be doing? I am excited to offer my first 2 Cute Ink FREEBIE Dolphin Cutie Digital Stamp! I think this dolphin would make a cute fun in the sun card or scrapbook page! I would love to see what you create so make sure to leave a link to your creation or post a link on the 2 Cute Ink Facebook page!
Happy Digi Stamping! I have another new digital stamp release today, this cutie is called "Sharkie". I think this is one of my favorite designs so far! Perfect little image for this hot summer we are having!
