So this morning I checked what celebration was today and found out it was "National Hat Day".  So I immediately thought of a gardening/sun hat and thought a cute chick planting flowers would be fun to sketch.  I am not a big hat person myself but I think hats are fun to draw!

I am happy to release a new digital stamp today called "Cupcake Dog".  I thought this would be a fun match to the Cupcake Cat digi!  I love that creating this cupcake series made me think about creating a "collection" and drawing in a simple style.  Cupcake Dog digital stamp is now available in my Shop.2cuteink shop and Etsy shop.

I was doing a search the other day for all Holidays and came across this website that listed a "Celebration" for each day.  Today is " Dress Up Your Pet Day".  So I thought it would be fun to play along and create a quick sketch.   I made a cute chihuahua ( based from my dog Cosmo) dressed up in a hat and sweater.   I have only dressed my dog up once for halloween and put a shirt on him and he hated it lol.  I hope to create a sketch each day, and play along with celebrating all the occasions.

Yesterday I started creating some cute easter designs!  I really love sketching in adobe ideas and adding color to my sketches!  I am playing around with different "eyes" as I did when I created all my sea creature designs.

So last night I managed to ink my cute little cinnamon bun in order to ink her right I needed to add some color to her.  In order to "ink" the icing i actually colored the icing in white first and then ink over it.  The colors show here are not the actually colors since I decided to use an instagram filter, but I just love the look of it!    I still have some tweaking to do on the color and then I may need to tweak the colors again on the computer  I really need to start coloring all my designs and putting them somewhere!  shirts, totes etc….
