So I am trying to get back in the habit of sketching and when I found out today is national dog day I just knew I had to draw a cute Chihuahua! This dog is based off my my dog named Cosmo! Cosmo loves going outside and he always gets on two legs when he gets excited.

 The weekend sure flew by but I was excited to see what special day today was so I could draw a cute sketch! I found out today is National Milk Chocolate day! I love chocolate chip cookies so I thought a cute mouse eating a chocolate chip cookie with a few crumbs by his feet sounded like a fun thing to sketch! I don't know what it is about sketching but I just love it!
So today is Amelia Earhart day. I remember learning about Amelia in school, and the first image that came to my head was the famous old time hat and goggles that she wore. So I drew a cute penguin wearing those same goggle, hat and a scarf flying a plane!. I may change the goggles and hat just a bit. I think the hat needs to be long and the goggles need to be bigger and face the front more. Other than that I this she came out pretty cute.
So I am going to try to sketch more in my sketchbook! Today is National Junk Food day and I wrote down some of my favorite junk food snacks. Cinnamon rolls, Pizza, Ice cream and Chips all made the list. I then thought why not draw a pig eating and ice cream cone? What is your favorite junk food?
Last night I created this sketch of a cute hamster eating a spinach leaf. Yesterday was fresh spinach day and started to think… what could I draw. So I thought of this cute little chunky hamster holding a spinach leaf with a bite taken out of it! :)
Create Your Own Digital Stamp: A Cute Camel with a Palm Tree, Custom Digital Stamp for Sue Bowen 
So I am excited to show the first Design Your Own Digital Stamp purchased from my Etsy Shop listing! My first customer Sue wanted a cute camel with a palm tree next to him! The sketch below is what I sent Sue to see how she liked it! She really liked the design and could not wait to see it all inked up! The Design your own digital stamp all started when Margarita needed a baby bear and rocking horse design for a customer of hers and I told her I could draw one for her! I then thought why not make a listing for "Custom" create your own digital stamps? So I put 5 listings up and they managed to all sell! My thought is if one person is looking for a design other people may be looking for it to! Camel and Palm Tree digital stamp is now for sale in my 2 Cute Ink Etsy Shop! Once I finish the other 4 custom digital stamps I will put up another 5 listings! :) 
Today I found out it is National Video game day! So I immediately thought of regular Nintendo! Actually my husband and I recently picked up the original Nintendo with Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers 3! I use to play those games all the time! My favorite still is Super Nintendo and that is next on the list to find! :) So I created this little boy character based off my husband and of course I had to add the rest of the video game systems from today! I think I am going to create a girl version of this design too!
So today when I checked the Holiday Insights page I found out it was Go Fishing Day. So I thought of two ideas one was a boy fishing and then I thought of a cat fishing! I really thought it would be cute to see a cat fishing in a boat so this is what I came up with! I already played around with turning this sketch into a Digi Stamp Sketch.
So I need to get back to sketching and get my mind in create mode! So today I looked on the Holiday Insights page and saw that today was "Eat Your Veggies Day". So I immediately thought of a cute rabbit holding big carrot with a big bite taken out of it. I also thought it would be fun to start showing my sketches as a screen capture from the adobe ideas app! I think it would be fun to create a little collection of garden rabbits? I am trying to start thinking how I can turn my art into collections for art licensing. Maybe this little rabbit will become my first portfolio piece?
I am wanting to create more videos, so today I took a video of me sketching in adobe ideas! I thought it would be fun to share my sketching process. I also want to include others to join in on the fun and create their own Beach crab and post their link on you tube or below! Below is the final sketch of my beach crab in an inner tube!  |
