The inspiration I had for these hedgehog's where that I wanted to crochet them as coasters? I started off with a circle shape for the body because I know I can crochet a circle but now I need to figure out How I would go about making the spikes....lol. While I was doodling I thought these would make fun softie toys don't you think? I love how cute simple designs can be.
Did you know I have an instagram page? I have kinda of just started posting more to it but I would love for you to follow me http://instagram.com/heidijune2cuteink
I am VERY excited to release 4 new digital stamps today! A Octopus, Dancing Jellyfish, Yoga Crab and and Angel Fish! It has been a while since I have been able to ink a digital stamp so it felt extremely good to get back into my groove! I really love this new style as digital stamps and my fav from the bunch has to be the Octopus! All of these sea creatures are now available in the 2 Cute Ink Digi Shop!
I did this quick sketch this morning of a sleeping bunny! I was thinking about making a cute series of sleeping baby animals to go along with my sleeping turtle! I love using different colors when sketching!
I have been waiting for this new update from Adobe Ideas for what seems like forever! I am so excited because now I can get back to inking and creating new digital stamps and art! I have to say though by not having this update pushed me to try a new coloring style using adobe ideas and I really really had a blast doing it! I already inked a new digi up today :) which I have posted a peek above
So I have a couple different ideas brewing in my head as I wait for the adobe ideas update.
1. Continue creating colored art with new eyelash style bugs and baby collections. 2. Create colored art with some of my previous sketches make a collection. 2.a Open a Zazzle or Cafe Press shop for the above colored art. 3. Get back into crocheting and create patterns. 4. Get back into making jewelry with clay and keep experimenting 4.a Open a new etsy account to sell some of my crafty handmade items. I have always wanted to see my art on products and have always wanted to sell handmade items. I think I have started and stopped so many times from getting my own rubber stamps made and trying to sell them myself, making my own glass beads to try and sell, shrink art jewelry and the list goes on. I have always said I wanted to be in a craft fair, but never have tried to do it. Maybe this is the time I need right now to start creating products on Zazzle and try out different crafts to make. I am really into coasters for some reason and would love to create some fun and funky coasters to sell! My main concern is how am I going to be able to make tons of coasters? I then thought maybe I can start to crochet something else and do a little variety? I can throw in my clay jewelry making an just have fun creating with crochet and clay! When I get tired of making stuff I can possibly sell tutorials on how to make them! Maybe even put some of my zazzle products for sale on etsy too! :) The possibilities are endless! Here is one of my latest illustrations a cute polar bear! I think this bear along with my hippo (which I haven't posted yet) are my favorites!
I think this would be cute on a t-shirt :) I actually turned my sea otter sketch, posted below into this bear! |
