I am happy to release a new digi today! I don't have a cute name yet so I am just calling this one Beatrice the Butterfly for right now! I outlined this digital stamp a little bit different than the rest of my images. I used different line weights for different parts of her body instead of doing thick and thin lines through out! Beatrice loves to water her flowers and her garden and can't wait to see how everything grows. Beatrice the Butterfly is now for sale in the Digi Shop, go check it out!

So today I was thinking I should start finishing my unfinished projects! I started coloring this cute hamster and turtle image in Corel Painter on my tablet pc a while back but never finished it. I did change the hamster character quite a bit from the sketch but I used the over all layout and such and just had a fun time creating! So I opened it up today touched it up here and their and this is how it turned out! I really like this style of digital coloring and hope to color all my images this way! I am also may go back to working on my hp tablet, perhaps do some inks and coloring on the IPad and some on the Tablet PC not sure yet though.
I will probably be posting a new digi either later tonight or tomorrow with a new sketch depending on what I can get done today! So today I made my first Shrinky Dink using my Cat-Knit rubber stamp. I originally wanted to try and make a key chain, but I didn't realize that the shrinky dinks shrink so much! So I used some clear shrinky dink paper that had a frosted backing and used my cat-knit rubber stamp and starz on ink to create this cute charm. I first stamped the image onto the clear side of the shrinky dink paper and let dry for 5 minutes. I then started coloring on the frosted side with sharpie markers. I wasn't sure that the sharpie markers would be that vibrant so I then used a white colored pencil and colored over the sharpie marker so the back was completely white. I think this brightened up the sharpie colors! I then punched a hole with a hole puncher and cut around the image as close as I could! Placed it in the oven at 325 on a piece of cardboard rough side up and set the timer for 3 minutes and watched it shrink! I think it came out pretty cute! I may make it into a necklace pendant, and am also thinking about giving it a glossy coat to protect it even more!. If you have any shrinky dink tips please let me know! I would like to try again using the crystal clear and solid white Shrinky Dink paper to see the difference!
I am excited to release Bumble Bee Cutie Digital stamp today! I know a lot of you gave it good ratings on my Rate My Sketches page so I hope you enjoy this one! This cute little bee will be great for summer crafts! I may have to try using the rub-onz transfer paper and transfer this cutie to a tiny flower pot! Check out the Digi Shop to purchase this little cutie!
So I was at Hobby Lobby a week or so ago and came across some paper you can put in your printer to make your own Rub-On Transfers! The paper is called Grafix Rub-Onz, and it says you can transfer to Paper, Chipboard, Transparencies, Glass, Wood and Non-porous sufaces. I thought this would great for digital stamps because you can literally put them anyway now. Though the paper is a bit expensive, just make sure to grab one of the 40% coupons for Hobby Lobby and you will be all set! Let me know if you have tried using this type of rub-on transfer paper and what you have made!
So I have gotten behind in my posting schedule this week for I got a little too much sun when I went jet skiing and I have been doing a lot of resting.
