I have been working hard to get my website complete and I have finally did it!. Now every link has content or takes you somewhere. I really like the overall look and feel of the design and I am excited to be done for now. So this means that now I can start working on new art again and then once finished I can just upload them to my portfolio page! Let me know what you think of the new site! 2Cuteink.com

Even though I didn't get to enter my drawing in illustration friday.com this week I still followed along and created an illustration that had the theme of "Voice". It took me a little bit to figure out what I wanted to draw but then it kinda hit me and thought, why not have a little yellow canary bird singing happy birthday to a mouse! lol I decided to just add a wash of color to my sketch and see how it turned out! The wash colors didn't turn out as bright as I hoped but I do like the look of it. What do you think?
This morning I have been playing around with the features of my weebly website and I have finally made a layout I like for my portfolio! I still have loads to do but so far I am loving it a lot! I now like that my home page is going to be my portfolio page! Everything here is still a work in progress so bare with me until I get everything uploaded!
I just wanted to wish everyone a happy easter and a share two cards my mom made using Lolli Hop from the
"Funny Bunnies" clear stamp and "Cutie Cat" clear stamp both from Lil Inkers/2CuteInk Clear Stamp line! My mom did such a great job don't you think? She also sent me a picture on how she displays some of her cards at home for inspiration! Love the idea mom :) So I am going to be posting some crafty projects here and there! I sometimes need a break from drawing and what better way to spend it then trying new craft ideas! My dad sent me a tin of the Popcorn Factory popcorn and I had this great idea to dip them in chocolate. I decided instead of just writing the idea down in my "idea book" I would also try it out! Sometimes when I just write things down they just end up staying there and I never get to it, so I am hoping by adding the "Be Creative" section to my blogging I will have some fun! I colored some of the white chocolate pink, and dipped the butter, cheese and carmel popcorn all in chocolate! It actually tasted pretty good too! (Oh I did have the idea of drawing some cute popcorn characters, and I did a quick thumbnail sketch)
It seems like it is baby season, so I decided to create some cute baby art. I know many of you have asked if I had any cute piggie images so I thought a baby piggie sleeping would be just right! "Piggie Dreams" will be a digitized embroidery design through Bunnycup embroidery and I am also releasing this image today in my New 2 Cute Ink Digi Shop as a digital stamp. (The shop is still a work in progress). Once I get a collection of baby images I am thinking they would look good as vinyl stickers too! My goal is to build on this image for my portfolio to get it licensed on a product! Right off the bat I am thinking a patterned fabric for a blanket or a onesie! Don't forget to stop by the 2 Cute Ink DT bog later today to see what lovely creations they have made with my "Piggie Dreams" digital stamp.
I was excited to reach in my mail box an pull out my Funny Bunnies clear stamp set sample! This stamp set looks absolutely adorable and I had to share! You can find Funny Bunnies and more of my 2 Cute Ink art as clear stamps in the Lil Inker's Shop!
I was playing around on my ipad in Adobe Ideas and came up with this quick thumbnail of a kids party plate and pattern for a napkin. I think with some work and a party plate template this could actually look like something that could be seen in stores one day! I am going to be purchasing some templates this week and can't wait to finalize this design.
