So I am going to be posting some crafty projects here and there!  I sometimes need a break from drawing and what better way to spend it then trying new craft ideas!   My dad sent me a tin of the Popcorn Factory popcorn and I had this great idea to dip them in chocolate.  I decided instead of just writing the idea down in my "idea book"  I would also try it out!  Sometimes when I just write things down they just end up staying there and I never get to it, so I am hoping by adding the "Be Creative" section to my blogging I will have some fun!  I colored some of the white chocolate pink, and dipped the butter, cheese and carmel popcorn all in chocolate!  It actually tasted pretty good too!  (Oh I did have the idea of drawing some cute popcorn characters, and I did a quick thumbnail sketch)

So this weekend I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the Craft Inc. Business Planner shown above.  I really like how it is a mini binder/notebook!  But right off the bat I was thinking, I wish you could actually remove/insert new pages.  So that got me thinking, I have wanted to create a a mini binder planner that I can use not only for my 2 Cute business but also for my everyday events, chores and possibly idea book.  So I thought I could probably make my own, and personalize it how I wanted.   I did a quick search this morning and found this great tutorial on making your own planner.  I probably won't go as far as actually making the binder part for it, I was hoping to buy a mini binder and use fun, papers, use some 2 Cute Rubber Stamps glitter, etc.   I would like to use my Craft Inc Business planner more like a guide, but also be able to doodle, write my everyday to do list and get organized all in one planner!  Right now it seems like I have too many notebooks started, one for 2 cute, one for chores and one for ideas! I can't wait to get it all into one!  Has anyone made there own planner?  Would love to see!

So one thing I want to start doing is finding fun and creative ways to use digital and cling cushion stamps.  So this morning I was doing a search online and came across an article on craftlog blog on printing on fabric vs. iron on transfers.  I saw these cute adorable dolls above and had to check it out!  So I thought you could turn any digital stamp into a "digi doll"!   Hmm that is an idea 2 Cute Digi Dolls!  I love it!  I would love to make them scented too! lol  hey an even better idea, they can be airfreshners for your car lol I would love to have penguin fun or turtle sundae or bumble bee cutie as a soft plush wouldn't you?  I believe in the article they have colored the image on the computer and then printed, but I wonder if you can also color it your self with fabric markers and paint and just print the outline?  Heck You can even make  cat toys and dog toys too, though my dogs always tend to pull the stuffing out of dog toys and i have to toss them.  i bet I could think of something though!  It would be fun to have the back side a fun pattern or even just a solid color!  I was just looking at my banner above and it would be fun to make little square colorful pillows!  The possibilities are endless!  Too bad I have to get ready for work now, I could write about this all day!

So I was thinking it would be fun to rubber stamp on tote bags!  You can stamp images that relate to what you put in your tote or just stamp it with on of your favorite images.  So I decided to do a search on rubber stamped tote bags and found this cute picture above!  I found it on Bliss Weddings Market.com  Not only did they stamp a tote bag but also a brown paper bag!  I think it would be fun to stamp on brown paper bags even if you did just bring them to lunch! :)

So I was thinking the other day, I could turn all of my 2 Cute Rubber Stamp Digital Stamps into fun mini magnets or pendants!  I found this picture and tutorial online on inkingaround blog, go check it out! All you need to do is take small or large clear glass gems you can buy at any craft store or the dollar store.  Then just resize each digital stamp, (or just use a rubber stamp) color on the computer or print and color then adhere them to the backs of the gems!

I found this great article and lovely picture posted above in the June Issue of Craft 'n Things Magazine.  It shows you how you can use your rubber stamps to create cute one of a kind onesies!  I really love this idea for I think it would make a great gift to give to a new baby!  I could so see 2 Cute Rubber Stamps on Onesies couldn't you?  All you need to do is pick up some VersaCraft Ink and some fabric markers and a couple blank onesies and you are good to go!  I can't wait to give this craft a try!  I bet it would also make cute bibs!

So doing a quick search on rubber stamps today I found this fun idea on how to create a rubber stamp organizer.  You can check out how to make your own Rubber Stamp Organizer Notebook here.  I was thinking you could even do this same idea but use a binder and dividers and label each different category so then it will be easy to find what you are looking for.

So I was doing a search this morning and  came across a few articles on using rubber stamps on fondant!  The picture above is from CakeJournal.com, where she rubber stamps on fondant to put over a cupcake!  It is a pretty clever idea, for baby showers, birthdays etc...  Make sure to check out the article to see all the instructions!

So  I love to buy craft magazines and be inspired by all the fun crafts!  So I was looking in my Craft and Things Aug 2009 issue for ideas and found fun guest room slippers to make! The pattern is originally from the book, Weekend Sewing: More Than 40 Projects and Ideas for Inspired Stitching by Heather Ross.  I have been wanting to make some house slippers and even maybe some slippers to wear outside and I did find a crochet pattern but I take forever to crochet!  So I thought I bet I can whip up a pair of these slippers in no time!  But the cool thing is I was going to rubber stamp on the fabric!  How cute would it be to have rubber stamped slippers!  Has anyone made slippers and them rubber stamped on them?

So I thought rubber stamping on an inexpensive tan clipboard would be a fun way to dress it up!  My first idea was to stamp all my 2 Cute Rubber Stamps all over it!  I have been wanting to stamp all of my stamp designs on one item, put I just didn't know what!  I was either thinking of coloring it or just leaving it blank.  Though now that I think about it it may be fun to just decorate the board using one stamp and then adding extra elements to it...hmmm.  So has anyone stamped on a tan clipboard before?  How did that turn out?
