Here is a little sneak peek of one of the school digital stamps that will be released next week!
I went for a thicker outline this time, which I think fits very well!  I think am going to try and color all my digital stamps from now on!

So yesterday I wanted to try and use my Rub Onz transfer paper, my paint pens and a flat wooden square and see what I could come up with.  I decided to use my Bumble Bee Cutie Digital Stamp, because you can print right on the transfer paper.  I decided just to color in the bumble bee stripes black on the computer before I printed her out!  I got inspired to start coloring circles on the wooden square because the grain of the wood had a circle pattern.
When I cut out my bumble bee on the transfer paper I cut out the same size square of the actual wood.  I did this because, the directions said to cut as close as possible to the image so you won't have a halo effect.  I really didn't want that at all so I thought why not cover the entire wood piece with the transfer paper because it is clear.  So my idea worked and there was no halo created!  What I then wanted was to seal it, so I put a coat of triple thick gloss glaze on top.  What I didn't expect is that it made a crackle pattern out of the clear parts of the transfer paper!  I thought it gave it a cool look!  Though I am not sure what I want to do with this little creation but, I am thinking of just sticking a pink backing on the back!

So this weekend I went to Barnes and Noble and bought the Craft Inc. Business Planner shown above.  I really like how it is a mini binder/notebook!  But right off the bat I was thinking, I wish you could actually remove/insert new pages.  So that got me thinking, I have wanted to create a a mini binder planner that I can use not only for my 2 Cute business but also for my everyday events, chores and possibly idea book.  So I thought I could probably make my own, and personalize it how I wanted.   I did a quick search this morning and found this great tutorial on making your own planner.  I probably won't go as far as actually making the binder part for it, I was hoping to buy a mini binder and use fun, papers, use some 2 Cute Rubber Stamps glitter, etc.   I would like to use my Craft Inc Business planner more like a guide, but also be able to doodle, write my everyday to do list and get organized all in one planner!  Right now it seems like I have too many notebooks started, one for 2 cute, one for chores and one for ideas! I can't wait to get it all into one!  Has anyone made there own planner?  Would love to see!

So I think I would like to start doing some rubber stamp and digital stamp craft tutorials!   I think I will just start with doing still photos and eventually would like to do some video!  I was inspired when someone commented on how I made my penguin fun earrings!  So I think for my first tutorial I will do some 2 Cute Rubber Stamps purse pins made from shrinky drinks!  I have had this idea to try and make pins from shrinky dinks but just haven't tried it out yet!  I was even thinking to add words to the images and make "inspiration/Personalized pins"  such as  "Be Creative" , "I heart knitting", "I heart cupcakes", "Smile", "Have Fun", etc...
Can't wait to give this a try!  Though I wonder how big I would need to make the words since shrinky dinks do get pretty tiny.

So one thing I want to start doing is finding fun and creative ways to use digital and cling cushion stamps.  So this morning I was doing a search online and came across an article on craftlog blog on printing on fabric vs. iron on transfers.  I saw these cute adorable dolls above and had to check it out!  So I thought you could turn any digital stamp into a "digi doll"!   Hmm that is an idea 2 Cute Digi Dolls!  I love it!  I would love to make them scented too! lol  hey an even better idea, they can be airfreshners for your car lol I would love to have penguin fun or turtle sundae or bumble bee cutie as a soft plush wouldn't you?  I believe in the article they have colored the image on the computer and then printed, but I wonder if you can also color it your self with fabric markers and paint and just print the outline?  Heck You can even make  cat toys and dog toys too, though my dogs always tend to pull the stuffing out of dog toys and i have to toss them.  i bet I could think of something though!  It would be fun to have the back side a fun pattern or even just a solid color!  I was just looking at my banner above and it would be fun to make little square colorful pillows!  The possibilities are endless!  Too bad I have to get ready for work now, I could write about this all day!

I found this great tutorial this weekend on resizing and printing digital stamps!   It is from the Angel's Landing website and they give a nice step by step tutorial!  That is one of the best things about digital stamps, you can make them tiny for a repeat pattern, or enlarge big enough to fit perfectly on you 6x6 card!  If you haven't tried digital stamps yet, give it a whirl and if you are looking for more info on digital stamps check out my FAQS section!

So I was asked to make a quick birthday card to send to a former co-worker at the bakery!  I have been meaning to print out my thank you cat design I had colored on the computer so I thought it would be perfect to use.  I don't make cards that often, but I would like to start creating mock cards to be licensed to greeting card companies.  So I threw this card together the other morning!  Nothing fancy just some cute font and fun paper flower accents!  I do like how it came out, though it printed rather dark on my card stock.
